The Birdcage is located less than a mile from the center of Brandon. Brandon is located at the intersection of U.S Route 7 and Vermont Route 73, halfway between Rutland and Middlebury. If you are driving south on Route 7 from Middlebury, turn left onto Park Street (just next to the Brandon Inn, where the Civil War statue is). Continue on Park Street to the stop sign and turn left onto Marble Street (Route 73). Make a left onto Wheeler Road, there is a field with a long driveway. Turn left onto that driveway and drive up to the house. If you are driving north on Route 7 from Rutland, turn right onto Park Street and follow the directions above.
